Lenovo Legion gaming laptops add liquid metal, next-gen Ryzen and GeForce chips
AMD fans looking for the promised land of a Zen 3-based laptop running Nvidia’s latest GeForce RTX 30-series GPUs won’t have to look further than Lenovo’s stack of Legion gaming laptops, which marry AMD’s latest Ryzen notebook CPUs with Nvidia’s new Ampere-based mobile graphics.
Lenovo will introduce no fewer than five laptops offering just about every screen configuration you could want. We’ll kick this off from the most affordable in the lineup: The Legion 5 series.
Lenovo Legion 5
The Legion 5 will come in both 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch versions, all at 1080p resolution. Lenovo will, however, offer offer the 17.3-inch with refresh rates of 60Hz or 144Hz. The 15.6-inch Legion 5 will run the gamut with 60Hz, 120Hz, and 165Hz options.
